A little about ME

Hello, I'm Erin, and I'm a photographer based in Northern California. I've been on a professional photographic journey for almost two decades now, and I'd love to share it with you. While I normally work in the Sacramento to Tahoe area, I'm fortunate to explore and capture the beauty of the Monterey Bay and San Francisco Bay areas on a regular basis.

As a child I spent a lot of time outdoors, camera in hand, eager to freeze those moments in time. Photography runs in my family; my dad was a photographer, so I grew up with a camera as my constant companion. I’ve always had a creative spirit, in high school and into college I focused on theater and photography. I graduated with a degree in Environmental Design, a field that allowed me to shape the world around me while including all my creative interests.

So, why should you consider me to capture your memories? I'd say it's because I'm a laid-back person, a good listener, and someone who values creativity. I also have a special connection with children and animals, making me a calming presence in any photographic scenario.

Photography isn't just a job for me; it's a true passion and a way to connect with you—my clients. From capturing the amazement of a newborn's first day to documenting the triumphant walk across the graduation stage, from the excitement of an engagement to the heartfelt vows of a wedding, and all the anniversaries that follow—I'm here to turn life's fleeting seconds into timeless memories. Those old black and white photos of my family that my dad kept are priceless, I want to do that for other people.

Beyond photography, I find solace in the pages of books, cherish moments spent with my family, watching movies, and friendly rounds of board games. These are the simple pleasures that add color to my life outside of work.

I see life as a mosaic of moments, and I see myself as the artist piecing them together for you. I would love to go on a photographic adventure together.
